Terms and conditions

Ticket sales and booking at Poznan Heritage Centre

The Facility’s managing entity is Poznan Heritage Centre – a cultural institution of the City of Poznań (hereinafter referred to as the Centre), with its registered office at ul. Gdańska 2, 61-123 in Poznań, with a NIP no. 7781465736 and a REGON no. 301204801.

  1. Tickets to the Facility are sold at the Centre’s Ticket Offices (including Ticket Offices at the Enigma Cipher Centre and Ticket Offices at Porta Posnania) as well as via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system on the website poznan.pl.
  1. Apart from the above, the Centre may also open telephone ticket sales service. Purchasing tickets via telephone sales service is possible in line with the rules identical to the rules regarding the purchase of tickets via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system.
  1. The Centre allows the sale of Gift Vouchers, which have to be exchanged for tickets. Purchasing a voucher is not tantamount to reserving a particular date and time of visit. The rules concerning the sale of vouchers are identical to the rules of selling tickets, with the exception of the rules stipulated in Section 13 as well as provisions regarding reservation of a particular date and time of visit.
  1. The price of tickets is stipulated in the price lists published on the websites administered by the Centre as well as available in the buildings of Porta Posnania and the Enigma Cipher Centre.
  1. The Centre allows the sale of tickets to one-off events other than visiting the exhibition, whose prices are not listed in the price lists referred to in Section 4. Prices of tickets to these events are published in Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system on the website poznan.pl as well as on other websites administered by the Centre.
  1. The Centre reserves the right to verify eligibility for discount at the time of purchasing tickets and other services as well as before and during the visit to the exhibition or an event for which the ticket was bought. Therefore, purchasers are obliged to retain their tickets until the end of the visit or of the event or until they finish using any other ticketed service provided by the Centre.
  1. Group tickets and other reduced-price tickets may not be purchased or used without the proof of eligibility for discount. The Centre reserves the right to refuse to provide services to buyers or visitors who cannot prove their eligibility for discount.
  1. Price lists referred to in Section 4 may include reduced-price tickets for groups of people who satisfy specified conditions of group size or the conditions of group size and other eligibility criteria such as:

a. group tickets for groups of more than 9 persons,

b. family tickets for groups of up to 5 persons, including up to two adults and three persons aged 16 or less,

c. joint family tickets for groups of up to 6 persons, including up to two adults and four persons aged 15 or less,

d. other tickets whose price was reduced conditionally and are available for purchase as part of the Centre’s programme offering.

  1. A group referred to in Section 8 letter (a) is understood hereafter as persons having tickets to one and the same date and time of entry or more than one entry time on the same day.
  2. If the Centre releases free tickets to the exhibition or an event, the Centre reserves the right to limit the distribution of tickets to the Centre’s Ticket Offices. Persons eligible to use free tickets may be required to collect them in person at the Ticket Office.
  3. Ticket prices are published in Polish zloty (PLN).
  4. The Centre reserves the right to run promotional campaigns.
  5. Ticket sale which is part of a promotional campaign may be subject to separate regulations formulated each time in separate terms and conditions of promotional campaigns. In the case of a collision of provisions written in the terms of promotional campaign and these Terms and Conditions, provisions in the terms and conditions of promotional campaign take precedence.
  6. Payment for tickets may be made in the following ways:
  1. in cash or by card at the Centre’s Ticket Offices
  2. via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system – either by a bank transfer order or the pay-by-link payment tool provided by the Centre or other tool for internet payments (e-payment) provided by the Centre.

15. Exhibition tickets as well as tickets to other events at the Facility become valid on the date and time specified on the ticket and remain valid throughout the time needed for the exhibition visit or participation in an event.

16. Purchasing tickets via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system is tantamount to placing a new order in the system and creating a new reservation, which commits the customer to making payment.

17. Purchasing tickets via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system with the option of payment by a bank transfer order commits the purchaser to making payment within 3 weekdays. If payment is not made, the order will not be fulfilled and the reservation may be cancelled.

18. Purchasing tickets via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system with the option of payment via the pay-by-link payment method or other online payment tool (e-payment) provided by the Centre commits the purchaser to making payment within 25 minutes from the moment of placing an order. If payment is not made, the order will not be fulfilled and the reservation may be cancelled.

19. Purchasing tickets via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system with the option of payment by a bank transfer order has to be made at least 7 days in advance.

20. The option of purchasing tickets via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system with the pay-by-link payment method or other online payment tool (e-payment) provided by the Centre may be switched off or limited for a period of time before the date and time of the visit.

21. Using the pay-by-link payment method provided by the Centre or other online payment tool (e-payment) provided by the Centre may require accepting additional rules and regulations required by the payment operator.

22. During purchasing tickets via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system the purchaser is obliged to give the following data:

  1. email address
  2. name and surname
  3. country
  4. phone number.

 23. Purchaser who wishes to receive a VAT invoice is additionally obliged to provide the following data:

  1. contractor’s full name
  2. address of the residence
  3. NIP number (National Tax Identification Number).

24. Purchaser who wishes to receive a VAT invoice is required to express this wish and provide the data referred to in Section 22 and Section 23 before the finalisation of the ticket purchase process both in the case of purchasing tickets at the Centre’s Ticket Offices and via Poznan Heritage Centre’s internet sales system.

25. The number of people visiting the exhibition or participating in events organised at the Facility is limited. Purchasing and booking tickets is possible only if tickets are available.

26. People making payment through an international bank should take into account the costs of bank broking. The Centre shall not be liable for additional charges imposed by external operators not related to the Centre’s internet sales system.

27. Exhibition tickets and tickets to other events purchased via the internet sales system may take the form of an electronic document. In such a case they are sent to the purchaser via email.

28. In the case of events and visits to the exhibition for which electronic tickets have not been released or in case of problems with the collection of tickets in the electronic form, the purchaser should collect printed tickets at the Centre’s Ticket Offices.

29. In order to collect tickets purchased via the internet sales system at the Centre’s Ticket Office the person collecting tickets is required to present a sales document or provide the number of the sales document at the Centre’s Ticket Office.

30. The person collecting tickets purchased via the internet sales system at the Centre’s Ticket Offices should collect them at the Centre’s Ticket Office no later than 10 minutes before the time specified on the ticket.

31. The Centre reserves the right to manage the availability of exhibition tickets and tickets to particular events freely through different sales channels.

32. The Centre reserves the right to end the internet sale at any moment without giving any reason.

33. The inability to purchase tickets via the internet sales system does not mean there are no tickets at the Centre’s Ticket Offices.

34. Purchased tickets may be returned no later than 14 days before the date specified on the ticket.

35. The wish to return tickets can be expressed in person at the Centre’s Ticket Offices as well as via email sent to rezerwacja@bramapoznania.pl or kontakt@csenigma.pl

36. The wish to return tickets sent via email should include the following data:

  1. name and surname or name of the institution
  2. sales document (invoice or, in the case of cash payment, a receipt)
  3. bank account number to which a bank transfer should be made.

37. In the case of returns by a bank transfer order, the returned amount is reduced by the cost of the banking transaction.

38. The Centre determines the cost referred to above to be 3 PLN for bank transfer orders processed through ELIXIR within the territory of Poland. For international bank transfer orders processed through other systems the cost may be subject to change.
